Numbering the boxes on the left allows for a description like:

  1. Rain?
    yes: go to 2
    no: go to 3
  2. Showers?
    yes: Cumulonimbus
      No:
      A: go to 4
      B: Nimbostratus
  3. Low clouds?
    yes: go to 4
    no: go to 5
  4. etc. etc.
