and Verb Infinitives at the End of the Sentence
Read and listen to the examples below to memorize the pattern – no need to learn the lines themselves, unless they look useful to you

Simple sentences have just one verb, the 'working verb.' The working verb changes with the subject: I am,  you are,  he is.
In Dutch, the verbs that are not the 'working verb,' like past participles and infinitives are usually put at the end of the sentence.

subject working verb (object / complement / ...) other verbs

The auxiliary verbs hebben click to
 hear and zijn click to
hear as 'working verbs' combine with past participles for the perfect tenses, and worden click to hear 2 also combines with past participles for the passsive voice.
Other verbs as working verbs combine with infinitives, like for instance zullen click to hear for the future tense.
It's a minority of Dutch verbs that use zijn click to hear (otherwise translated as 'to be') as the auxiliary verb for the prefect tenses. verbs taking zijn  for the perfect tenses
Unlike in English, there's not much difference between the present perfect tense and the simple past tense in Dutch.
