Dutch 'best' does not always mean 'the best, superior, supreme, most desirable, most wanted' etc. but sometimes it just means something like 'satisfactory, OK.' For instance, in answer to a question like Hoe gaat 't? (How are you?) 'Best' 2 means 'OK, fine, not bad, carrying on.'

'Mis'
is also 'wrong, incorrect' or 'not as it should be' -
and sometimes with a sense of 'missing the target, beside the mark.'
'Mis' is only an adverb. It's usually combined with verbs like
